From Thursday, February 24th to Thursday, March 3rd the developer of This War of Mine will be donating all profits from sales to the Ukrainian Red Cross. This includes the base game sales, all of the DLC for the game and the bundle. The profits from these seven days will be donated to help with the humanitarian efforts.
Developer 11 Bit Studios published a statement on Twitter on February 24th to offer their support for the people of Ukraine and to announce their donation pledge. This War of Mine is the “globally recognised anti-war game” and the company has made similar donation pledges for other wars.
11 Bit Studios is just one game development studio that's officially and publicly spoken out about the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The studio concludes their message with “let us – players and developers together – do everything we can to support victims of war in Ukraine”.
All profits from This War of Mine across all available stores and platforms will go towards the donation fund for the Ukrainian Red Cross. In addition to this, GOG has pledged their portion of all sales to the humanitarian aid efforts as well.
