Rocksteady Studios has announced that the release date of their upcoming Suicide Squad game has been pushed back to 2023. The game was supposed to be released this year, but the developer explains that this is no longer feasible.
The developer announced on Twitter that the team has made the "difficult decision to delay Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League to Spring 2023." They recognise the wait time may be “frustrating” for many but “that time is going into making the best game” possible. There is no word on what caused the delay, and it is possible that it will never be revealed.
Bloomberg reported last month that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League had been pushed back until next year. This report has now been confirmed by Rocksteady Studios' announcement. More information about Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be released by the developer later this year as the game approaches its new Spring 2023 release date.
