Twitter user AestheticGamer, previously known as Dusk Golem, has posted some images of what they claim to be a new Silent Hill game. The original tweets have now been deleted due to a “report from the copyright holder” which seems to confirm the legitimacy of the leak. Naturally, the images have reposted online and there's a lot of doubt over them.
One Reddit user has posted screenshots of the original tweet which includes the so-called leaked images. Other similar images are starting to appear as well such as this one which is supposedly signed by Masahiro Ito, a Japanese video game artists best known for his Silent Hill work.
Some of the visible words show a clear British influence here. It includes words such as “minger” which is classic British slang. Another image also contains graffiti that says “he's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy” which is a line from Monty Python's The Life of Brian.
A new Silent Hill has been rumoured for quite some time and the news from this leak is certainly unusual. Hopefully, we'll be starting to hear news soon if there is a new Silent Hill game in production.
