Lollipop Chainsaw gained a cult following when it was released in 2012 and it's been confirmed the series is getting a new game. Yoshimi Yasuda was the CEO of Kadokawa Games which published Lollipop Chainsaw for its developer, Grasshopper Manufacture. Last month Yasuda left the studio and established a new company called Dragami Games. He has now confirmed that it will be one of the first titles from Dragami Games.
Yasuda announced on Twitter that “Lollipop Chainsaw is back by Dragami Games”. It looks like his new company will be publishing the next Lollipop Chainsaw game but we don't know what this is yet. The tweet doesn't mention if this will be a sequel to the first game or a remaster since it is 10 years old now.
Gochi Suda AKA Suda51 did post to Twitter celebrating the 10th anniversary but didn't tease a new game. He hasn't mentioned any kind of new Lollipop Chainsaw title so it's unknown if he has anything to do with the upcoming game. Suda51 was the director of the original game and the game's co-writer, James Gunn, also didn't mention any kind of series revival.
