YouTuber Mafia Game Videos has released gameplay footage of the cancelled Scarface 2 game which has never been seen before. Scarface 2 was scrapped when its developer, Radical Entertainment, was acquired by Activision in 2008. It was cancelled due to “too many games in development” at the time with many of them not being made public including a cancelled Jason Bourne game called Treadstone.
Scarface: Empire was highly anticipated at the time due to the success of the original 2006 Scarface game. The gameplay footage released is pre-alpha but it does give us a good look at what could have been another great game. Naturally, it looks very dated now but this is the only available footage of Scarface 2.
Mafia Game Videos also released a video of the cancelled Jason Bourne game Treadstone which has never been seen publicly. This is another title that was in development by Radical Entertainment before it was purchased by Activision who later cancelled the game due to “too many games in development”.
