Bethesda announced in February that it's shutting down the standalone Bethesda Launcher and moving all titles to Steam instead. Details on how this would work were limited, but Bethesda has finally revealed its plans.
Posting to its official website, Bethesda states that users will be able to migrate their games and Wallet to Steam from April 27th this month. Users can migrate their Bethesda Launcher library to their Steam account from that date.
The Bethesda Launcher will be launching games until May 11th, but users are recommended to begin the migration process as soon as possible. Purchases and most game saves can be transferred to Steam, but others might require manual copying. Some of the games and services from the launcher may still need a Bethesda.net account to retain access to different aspects.
Detailed instructions will be coming from Bethesda as the time for the account migration comes closer.
