Battlefield 2042 has had a bit of a rough launch. It's had a host of problems including gameplay aspects and the lack of features in the game overall. One Reddit user went as far as to create a list of all the features missing from the game including the ones that were downgraded since the previous games. The full list is pretty long and players haven't been quiet about voicing their frustrations.
The game has become one of the lowest-rated games on Steam and the Steam250 Hall of Shame lists Battlefield 2042 as one of the worst games of all time. At the same time, Battlefield 2042 is one of the most played games on Steam right now. The game might have a lot of problems but it's also within the top 100 most played games on Steam right now.
Despite all the problems with Battlefield 2042, it doesn't seem to be keeping players away from the new game.
