Bandai Namco seems to have registered a new trademark for the Klonoa Phantasy Reverie series within the UK. The series began in 1997 and it also has a few spinoff games created too including a Bead Volleyball game. Sadly, the Nintendo Wii remasters in 2008 and 2009 didn't achieve any commercial success despite it being highly praised.
According to VGC, Bandai Namco has registered a new trademark for “Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series”.This isn't the only new trademark for the series, however. In 2019, a trademark for “Klonoa Encore” was registered in Japan along with trademarks for Mr Driller Encore and Splatterhouse Encore.
Previous revival attempts for Klonoa by Bandai Namco have run into trouble in the past. In 2019, the company also cancelled an anime movie for the series. While Klonoa seems to have always run into some trouble, the game series still spawned various spin-offs over the years.
