The Aliens franchise is getting a new single-player action horror game in the near future from Survios. The developer is mostly known for creating VR games like The Walking Dead: Onslaught and Creed: Rise to Glory. It usually releases VR games for PC and PlayStation consoles however, Survios has developed the Aliens game “for the PC, Console, and VR”.
Details for the new Aliens game are still limited and there's no official title or trailer yet. Survios has said a few things about what we can expect from the upcoming game. According to the studio, the upcoming Aliens game will be an “intense” action horror game with an “original storyline” set between the films. The story will include a “battle-hardened veteran” who has a “vendetta against the Xenomorphs”.
Survios is developing Aliens in Unreal Engine 5 and will be releasing more detail on the project later this year.
