Just announced at the E3 Ubisoft Forward event. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora looks to be bringing the world of James Cameron's Record breaking 2009 movie to life.
With a new trilogy of films filmed / being filmed now seems like a great time for cashing in on this franchise. And with the new gen console technology allowing massive open worlds of vibrant colours, what better time than now to explore Pandora.
We don't know if the footage shown is game play. We don't know what type of game this is.
But it's Ubisoft. So it's likely to follow their open sandbox style. Which could work well for exploring an alien planet.
It looks like you may be playing as the Smurfs and the Human marines, mech suits and all.
Personally i hope this is a nice lengthy RGP. Maybe two, one from human, one from Pandoran perspectives.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is due for release 2022.
