Assassin's Creed Mirage has been delayed

According to a report from Insider Gaming, Assassin's Creed Mirage is now targeting an August 2023 release due to internal delays. It was originally planned to release earlier in the year but this is no longer the case.

Sources claim that Assassin's Creed Mirage has suffered from two internal delays which have pushed the release date back. Ubisoft had originally planned to release it early next year but this is no longer possible. It's uncertain what has caused the delays but it's suspected that the intention to release it on last-generation consoles could be the problem. The limitations of the older harder may be causing problems with the game though it's uncertain how true this is.

While Assassin's Creed Mirage is suffering from issues internally with its development, the sources also commented that Assassin's Creed Project Red is also experiencing problems. Project Red may be delayed into 2025 as a result. However, Project Hexe is being received very positively so far.
